SlingMedia Custom Flash Training

SlingMedia initially contacted the eSyncTraining team with the goal of obtaining flash video training for their entire development team, working in both Northern California and India. With its team spread around the globe, live synchronous training was the ideal solution. This solution allowed the entire team to get live hands on training from an expert instructor and work and interact with each other, all without anyone having to leave the office, get on a plane, or check into a hotel. The training was done over a three-week period, broken up into convenient blocks to maximize learning and efficiency and minimize lost time from work.

The training was led by eSync’s Robert Reinhardt, who is a technical architect and developer for high-end Flash application work, including RIAs (Rich Internet Applications), Flash Video, Flash Remoting, and Flash Communication Server. He is also a high level corporate trainer for advanced ActionScript and Flash production techniques, including ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0 along with Flash CS4-based architectures. Commenting on the SlingMedia training process, Reinhardt notes, “eSync has developed a powerful platform for both its instructors and students. It’s very convenient for any geographic location and the custom enhancements to the Adobe Connect Pro platform really help with engaging, interacting, and sharing code with all the students. In addition, each of the students can log into their account in eSync’s student center and review any of the class recordings, topics, and materials.”
